BigBoss mobile software site. 1) VCaller Screen v2.0. Package: LocationHandle. org.thebigboss.locationhandle. Repository: BigBoss. All iOS Cydia Repository Updates for Jailbroken iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch devices.
The main bigboss.org server has been having some troubles the last couple days. It is not a traffic issue as the server has plenty of horse power to handle whats coming in. The issue has been tough to nail down but I have made changes every day and enabled different logging. I check the server multiple times a day and fix it right away if I notice a problem. So if you are having issues, just try again in an hour or so until the problem is solved. I have enabled some additional log files so I may need a couple more days of reproduction with logfiles to solve it once and for all.The main bigboss.org server has been having some troubles the last couple days. Bo Says:I looks like cydia.ispazio is also down. Dan Says:Everything was fine early this am with bothbut not now in the early pm and still thru the early evening. BigBoss Says:I think the servers were fine when you posted this comment. The only issues occurred between 11:30 and 2:30pm pacific standard time. After that, everything has been up without incident. Ramses Says:I cannot connect to ispazio repo. lug85 Says:Is the Installer app down as well?.
lug85 Says:Hey guys, I am having a really hard time with my installer.app. I have a jailbroken iphone with 2.2 firmware. My installer app was working fine but now I’m haveing trouble accessing it. When I click installer it opens to a white screen for about five seconds and then just closes back to the home screen. Can anyone tell me what the problem is??.
BigBoss Says:Man I’m sorry I posted this now. Nothing is down. It was down for a couple hours and has since been up.
BigBoss Says:Use Cydia. lug85 Says:I need to uninstall some apps that I installed via Installer.app, is there any way I can do this without installer.app??. lug85 Says:is there any way to divert back to the previous installation of Installer.app?. Bo Says:We know BigBoss is up (and we appreciate it!). We just wish ispazio was as efficient.
Bo Says:Ok, found the ispazio twitter and blog. Here’s the reason and workaround fromHow to work around problems with the repository of iSpazio on CydiaYesterday we reported our “work in progress”, in order to migrate the domain on a new dedicated server. This is leading some of the malfunzionalmento redirect, and therefore also the repository on Cydia. To resolve this problem, open Cydia and revenue in the Manage Packages.
Try “iSpazio” and uninstalled the repository. Then, come back in and click Manage Sources EDIT ADD and write this addressWait for the refresh and you can install without problems all our package. Once the domain returns active, alert you with a new article. BigBoss Says:Install them in cydia then uninstall them. BigBoss Says:iSpazio has a domain problem. I’m going to host his updated repo package until Saurik updates it. Grim Says:CAN THIS BE THE REASON, SKREWCOMMON, VWALLPAPER, NOT INSTALLING AND TZONE HACK NOT BEING IN CYDIA ANYMORE????.
crucialpro Says:Hello,Is everything up and running okay? I keep getting “bigboss index files failed to download”Am I doing something wrong here?Leave a ReplyName (required)Mail (will not be published) (required)Website.
By far the simplest way to handle this now is with Y-PPA-Manager (which now integrates the launchpad-getkeys script with a graphical interface). To install it, first add the webupd8 repository for this program: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/y-ppa-manager.Update your software list and install Y-PPA-Manager: sudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install y-ppa-manager.Run y-ppa-manager (i.e. Type y-ppa-manager then press enter key). When the main y-ppa-manager window appears, click on 'Advanced.' .From the list of advanced tasks, select 'Try to import all missing GPG keys' and click OK.You're done! As the warning dialog says when you start the operation, it may take quite a while (about 2 minutes for me) depending on how many PPA's you have and the speed of your connection. Execute the following commands in terminal sudo apt-key adv -keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com -recv-keys where is your missing public key for repository, e.g.
8BAF9A6F.Then update sudo apt-get updateALTERNATE METHOD: sudo gpg -keyserver pgpkeys.mit.edu -recv-key sudo gpg -a -export sudo apt-key add -sudo apt-get updateNote that when you import a key like this using apt-key you are telling the system that you trust the key you're importing to sign software your system will be using. Do not do this unless you're sure the key is really the key of the package distributor. You need to get and import the key.To get the key from a PPA, visit the PPA's Launchpad page. On every PPA page at Launchpad you will find this link (2), after clicking on 'Technical details about this PPA' (1):Follow it and click on the key ID link (3):Save the page, this is your key file. Now it's time to import it:. Applications Software Center,.
Edit Software sources.,. Enter your password,. Go to the Authentication tab and click on Import Key File., finally. Select the saved key file and click on OK.
Apt can only handle 40 keys in /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d. 41 keys and you will get the GPG error 'no public key found' even if you go through all the steps to add the missing key(s).Check to see if there are any unused keys in this file from ppa(s) you no longer use.
